All Cambridge Press publications go through an editorial review process to ensure quality, relevance, and contribution to the field.

Review Process

The commissioning editor reviews the proposal to assess fit with the publishing list and readership.

  2. External Review
Suitable proposals or manuscripts are sent to independent reviewers with expertise in the subject area.

  3. Editorial Board Decision
Based on reviewer feedback, the press decides whether to:

    • Accept

    • Accept with revisions

    • Request resubmission

    • Decline

  4. Contract and Manuscript Development
Once accepted, the author works with the editor to develop the final manuscript.
